Summer is over and we are back in Stebbins for the school year. As you can see from the pictures the kids were all outside our apartment the moment we got in and excited to see us. We did some unpacking last night and then took a trip to St. Michael today to get some groceries. We stopped on the way to pick some berries out on the tundra. Right now the Salmon Berries and Blue Berries are ripe. The Salmon Berries are an acquired taste and the Blue Berries taste like Huckleberries and are delicious.
We had really good flights yesterday and enjoyed seeing all the sights; Mount McKinley and Norton Sound. That's Jesse in the co-pilot seat on the flight from Nome to Stebbins, he had an especially good view.
We miss you all already!
Enjoy the rest of your summer!

Glad to see you guys got back safe and sound. How's that Honda run? So Jesse, were you going to take over the flight controls if the pilot became unconscious? Have a great year and maybe we can come up to AK sometime this fall........Dad Jim
