We are still in the lower 48 and enjoying our summer. Last week for the 4th of July we spent some time in Tacoma checking out the tall ships exhibit. Jim was a security escort so we got to see a lot of the boats up close. They had replicas of the Bounty and the Nina. They were pretty cool.
Yesterday was Roslyn's 4th birthday party. It was a big to do with a treasure hunt, a Dora pinata and lots of friends. The weather was great and everybody had a good time. Kyle's parents were out from Tennessee and Ken's parents and sister were over from Spokane.
We have been hiking, camping, boating and just enjoying our summer. We are trying to soak in all the vitamin D that we can before we head back up to Stebbins in August.
