The Family Mini Van

What do you think of our new family vehicle? We finally broke down and bought ourselves a new Honda. The prospect of fresh food only 12 miles away finally got the better of us. Plus with the sunny weather and the 30 degree temperatures it is really tempting to get out of town for a little fresh air. We realize that we only have two weeks of school left, but it will be here and ready for us in the fall.
Tomorrow we are going to go Munuking (ice fishing) for tomcods with one of the kids. There are several holes drilled in the ice and we just have to go and pick our spot. I know it seems like the sea ice should be melted in May, but we were told that it would stay thick for at least another month. The lakes are starting to melt a little and that means that many high school boys are sinking their snow machines. It sounds alarming, but amazingly it is quite common.
Anyway, we only have 10 days of school left and believe me we are counting down. We are so excited to be home for the summer. We can't wait to see everyone.
