Hi Everybody,
Sorry it has been so long since we posted last. It has been very busy with Volleyball Regionals and Basketball starting. We are just trying to make the last push to Christmas Break. Weather permitting we will be home on December 24th.
This is a picture of two of my kids standing on Norton Sound. It is still crazy to me that the ocean actually freezes. A couple of weeks ago when it was really windy and cold our ocean got blown out of our sound and then froze. It was crazy. Our beach just kept going. We worried it was a tsunami for a minute and then got over it. Everything was back to normal by the next morning. Some people were actually digging for clams.
Jesse's basketball team is designing and selling sweatshirts for the team and as a fundraiser. If you want to show your Stebbins pride let us know and we will order you a sweatshirt. :0) At least it would be a good conversation starter.
We are looking forward to seeing you all over break. Please post comments on our blog. As far as we can tell everybody has stopped looking.
Staying Warm,
K&J

We have definitely not stopped looking! I promise that I am going to send your books today. It has been hard enough to leave the house :-)
Can't wait to see you! We're here, so any time you can come see us, or want to meet somewhere, I'm there!
Don't stop writing-- I am still silently following your happenings. When ever I get frustrated by what I consider the uncomfortable cold of Colorado, I look at your blog and realize that it is not really all that cold here. Hopefully we will see you guys at Christmas.

Katy & Jesse, enjoy your blog very much, about the only one I've read that I can understand. Keep it coming. Put me down for a sweatshirt in XL, I'll take it to HI next month for evening wear. Also, tell me how to pay for it. Have a great Christmas with the family.

I love reading your blog! Thanks for keeping us updated on your life. Wish that I could see you over winter break. Have a wonderful time with your families over the holidays. I am sending you some fun things in January to help get you through the winter and spring!! Miss you!
How dare you accuse me of not reading your blog (o.k., I haven't checked in over a week)! I love living vicariously through you guys. Please tell me more about the sweatshirts - price, design, etc. I'm definitely interested.
Have a great X-mas, and don't forget to turn on Skype every once in a while!

No, we haven't stopped reading your delightful stories of your life in coooooooooold Alaska! I don't know whether I will get to see you at Christmas or not, but I'll be thinking about you and hope you enjoy the warmer weather in Washington.
Love you both and have a wonderful holiday vacation.
Love, Myrna
I hope you don't mind that I've been reading your blog after hearing about your adventures from April, our daughter-in-law. My wife and I are planning an Alaska cruise in May, so we're very interested in your experiences. As a retired teacher and athletic director, I appreciate the value you bring to your students with your efforts in and outside of the classroom. Best wishes! --Frank R.
