Hi,
Sorry it has been so long since our last entry. There are not many new things happening up here. We have been getting quite a bit of snow lately. We have about 7 inches right now in Stebbins. The wind has been blowing and causes huge drifts so some places have over a foot. I am in White Mountain this weekend with my volleyball team and there is at least 8 inches here. Everybody in this village rides snowmachines compared to our village where the 4 wheeler is the vehicle of choice. I am enjoying being in White Mountain because it is so hilly and there are actual trees. I was laughing yesterday because one of my kids said, "Look at those telephone poles, it's just a tree with the branches cut off, hehe." I told him that most telephone poles were made from trees and he thought that was very weird. The telephone poles in Stebbins are made of some type of metal.
Last week we got to enjoy Halloween Native style. It was a big event in our village. We had tons of kids come to our house. Some younger than school age all the way up to parents with their own trick-or treat bag. We went to the hall that night for a costume contest and some dancing. The entire village was there and it was really fun.
Anyway, the most exciting thing that we have going on right now is the fact that we get to come home in about 10 days. I can't wait!
Hope to hear from you all soon!
Can't wait to see you!

I can't believe you've been up there for three months already. Have a great Thanksgiving and soak up the "warm" while you're there!

It sounds like that village has fallen in love with you both!! How could they not? I wish I was able to see you over Thanksgiving. If Montana wasn't a must I would definitely be taking a road trip to Seattle. Miss you! I love this blog!

Boy, seems like it was just the other day we were enjoying the sun on Orcas Island. Looks like you are getting all the same wetness we are. Yours is just frozen. Sorry we won't be able to see you at Thanksgiving, but I am sure you will really enjoy seeing your families and getting a warmth, even though it might be pretty wet.
