Do you know that book, "When the relatives come"? Anyway, we had a great time with Jim and Sherry. We went to Homer for the weekend, which was beautiful. Unfortunately most of the shops were closed for the season. The ones on the Spit were even boarded up. We did find a couple of open shops and we ate a two great restaurants. Then we spent the next few days in Kenai just hanging out and celebrating Jesse's birthday. Jim and Sherry kept Eli while Jesse and I were at work and they all had a great time. Sherry kept complaining about how tired her arms were. I can't blame her, Eli weighs 20 pounds now. I finally started my new job. I'm teaching in a K/1 classroom half a day. I work every afternoon and my teaching partner, Heather, works in the morning. This is my first week but it is working out well. Those little guys are much more tiring that the 4/5 graders that I am used to. Hopefully I will adjust soon.
Please keep commenting on the blog. We like to hear from you too.

That is so funny. I just read that book for the first time a couple of weeks ago. My little 2 year old weighs 21 lbs. I cant imagine carrying him around all the time. I bet your arms look great..
Gosh it was good to hang out with the three of you and get to see the beautiful Kenai. We are so sad that it will be Christmas before we see you gain. We suppose Eli will be about ready for college by then. We terribly miss you.
Love Jim and Sherry
Sounds like you're settling in and getting to know your new community. Hope we can come visit you someday! Looking forward to seeing you guys next summer...
